Data Deletion
You can delete your data at any time. Choose whichever applies to you.
1. Disconnect a social account
To remove a connected YouTube or Instagram account — including the stored access token — sign in and go to Dashboard → Channels, then click Disconnect on that platform. The token is deleted from our database immediately.
You can also remove SonaraAI from Instagram's side, under Instagram → Settings → Apps and Websites. Instagram notifies us automatically and we delete the stored token when that happens.
2. Delete a generated video
Generated videos are periodically cleaned up from our servers to manage storage. To have a specific video removed sooner, contact us with the video title or date and we'll delete it.
3. Delete your entire account
To permanently delete your SonaraAI account and all associated data — profile, generated scripts and videos, connected accounts, transaction history, and support messages — send a request from your registered email address via our contact page with the subject "Delete my account".
We'll confirm your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days. Some records may be retained where we're legally required to keep them (for example, payment records for tax purposes) — these are kept only for as long as the law requires.
What gets deleted
- Your name, email address, and password hash
- Connected YouTube and Instagram accounts and their access tokens
- Generated scripts, videos, and voiceovers stored on our servers
- Credit balance and usage history
- Support chat messages
